What makes biscuit rag quilts so unique are their exposed seems that soften and crinkle with each wash mixed with the plush softness of a biscuit quilt. It is the perfect marriage of a body pillow and a weighted blanket. Each quilt is hand sewn using the softest flannel for optimal comfort.

The examples photographed has not been pre-washed.  A standard purchase does not include a pre-wash. The fabric itself has been cleaned, but the final product has not been washed to create the stereotypical rag fringes. Because this item uses flannel fabric, it will pill some upon being washed and/or with consistent use. This is a normal aspect of flannel, and will not effect the use of the quilt. 

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold with a couple of towels and dry on medium heat. We highly suggest using an industrial washer or dryers such as those found in laundromats to prevent clogging up your appliances with frayed bits from the quilt. This type of fraying is completely normal and an expected part of having a rag quilt.
