What makes biscuit rag quilts so unique are their exposed seems that soften and crinkle with each wash mixed with the plush softness of a biscuit quilt. The examples photographed have not been pre-washed, hence the flat fringes. The fabric itself has been cleaned, but the final product has not been washed to create the stereotypical rag fringes.

Care Instructions: Machine wash cold with a couple of towels and dry on medium heat. We highly suggest using an industrial washer or dryers such as those found in laundromats to prevent clogging up your appliances with frayed bits from the quilt. This type of fraying is completely normal and an expected part of having a rag quilt.
